After a 10-year stint as Brand Director of Supreme, Angelo Baque stepped down from his role at the iconic label and founded Awake NY. Capturing the spirit of youth culture, streetwear, joy, and protest through a distinctly Latinx lens (Baque is a Queens native of Ecuadorian heritage), the aptly-named Awake caught our eye for their socially aware and active design agenda. A modern, perhaps more refined take on streetwear, Awake NY is only carried in Latin America by HEADQUARTER.
